I’ve been parking my truck in Grays Ferry, not much nicer than Kensington, then riding my bike to CHOP. I’ve had no issues but it is below freezing.

Interesting that I noted in the video it seems that new leaf springs and new brake lines are part of the frame job? I wonder if that's standard. I've just been pondering to replace my leaf springs figuring they had the same mileage on them as my odometer... but maybe they've only got the number of miles on them since the frame was done with the former owner?

Thought I'd incite an interesting conversation with my comments about my Volvo and lack of rust. Maybe it got lost or overlooked since I accidentally made it look like part of the quote from Nimble9.

Holy moly! All that trouble and money spent by Toyota paying people to do this for a whole generation of Tacomas... if they'd only used good steel and coatings in the first place. Don't get me wrong, I love my Taco... but I also seriously love that my stupid 1993 Volvo 240 wagon(26 friggin' years old) has about 1/10th the rust my truck has and is going to outlive my truck despite all the TLC I'm going to be giving it. If only they'd do whatever Volvo was doing when they designed/built for corrosion resistance. All I can come back to in my mind is planned obsolescence and that not making things built to last forever puts more money in their corporate pockets since the buyers will buy 5 more in a lifetime than something built to last better.

I do not believe 1st gems got leaf springs with the frame replacement. There was a recall on the springs on the 2nd gen so easier while it was apart.
