How do I remove the "small grille" in the bumper that is beneath the larger grille? I thought it was a "pop-out" but it does not seem to me...thanks...doug

Sawsall worked for me. Just go slow and be very precise when cutting.

Take your time....and you will be fine. Pic below is upper and lower Grillcraft.

FYI: I installed a grillcraft upper and lower and thought it looked better with the lower grill staying in place and installing the grillcraft insert over it.

I did however cut the top grill out before installing the upper grillcraft.

I cut mine out with a thin hand saw, sanded, bondo'd where necessary, and painted. Came out great. Now if I can find some way to put in anchors for my mesh I will be done. I'm using the ABS screw boss idea, like I did on my upper, but I haven't found any product that glues well to the bumper which isn't abs, more like some sort of polyurethane.

either 3m double sided tape will work...if you want something more secure you have to use bolts and lock nut washers...

Someone else beat me to the response, but it was the "Super Heavy Duty" double sided tape by 3m. You can find it at Lowes/Hope Depot for about $4 a roll. It is VERY secure.

    Thanks

Trying not to use bolt so screws doesn't show. I was just afraid it will come off and fly if I use a double sided tape. How long have you guys had it on without anyproblem?

I've had mine on for 3 months, it is just as "snug" on it as the day I put it on though. You can pull on the emblem and you would think it was superglued/bolted onto the grill.
