Are these SAE Compliant street legal? They certainly look bright but in your pictures they seem to illuminate pretty high.

None yet, chomping at the bit for the first one.
Took my truck in for 5k check up and rotation, service guy was throwing shade on skid plate. Saying oil change places will strip the threads on the removable plate and oil will collect on top of the plate. Then proceeded to chide me about my bd squadrons.

I removed them and painted them with Plistidip spray flat white. Then used some Gorilla Glue and the original clips to replace them. Really didn't want the red letters either. Looks really good. If the paint holds up, it'll be a winner. Installing today, so we'll see.

Thanks! They’re the Kustom 54 Fogs. Very simple OEM replacement plug-and-play.

have you used these in the fog yet? We live on a horse farm in a valley - so I'm often driving in the fog - I am older and my eyesight is not what it used to be.

There are a whole bunch of really satisfying ways to respond to a dork like that....but i reckon they all fall into the category of "If it feels good, it is probably the wrong thing to say".....

Along with "Don't piss off the person who cuts your hair" and "Don't piss off the person who cooks your food", we should likely add "Don't piss off the person who services your Tacoma"

I think the 4 lights is a great choice. It looks very symmetrical IMO. I originally had red LED’s but as my friend pointed out when I showed him a preliminary pic, it’s very illegal lol. At least here in Arizona. So had to switch out to amber. Let me know if you have any wiring issues. It took me a solid 2 days to figure out since I’m electrical illiterate haha.

And yep, nice identifying skills with the M2! That’s my other bae who hasn’t been getting much attention since I got the Tacoma. Had a frontier before this truck and the only thing I miss is the higher HP.

Umm I’d still like to use my fog lights, I’m okay with the chrome used to reflect light, it has a function.

Thanks! I love this truck box, it has been invaluable to my work over the last 13 years, so I couldn't just let it sit idle! It has its fair share of dents and gouges, but the rattle can job covered most of it pretty well.
