This is the 2nd one I've done. So I knew what I was getting into. It's not too bad, take your time and measure twice. A dremel and good 3/4" punch will be a neccessary

Damn love the truck man! I got a question about the bilsteins, did you put driver and passanger at the 5th notch? Looking at getting the same 6112/5160 from headstrong soon and with 285/75

Thank you! I set them both at the 5th notch and 1/4" lean spacer on the drivers side. Had a hard time compressing them enough on 5th notch. Really didn't want to max the pre load out personally. Plenty of guys set them at 6/5 with no problems

Those brute force bumpers are badass! You going to upgrade the to a 650# spring?

I've been hoping for someone to come out with a half way decent bumper for the 3rd gens. Brute force knocked it out. Actually going with 700lb coils (if I can compress them). Will have the bumper, 10k winch, ifs and mid skid too. Almost went 650lb at first

Yeah with full bumper I’d go 700#, What coils are you going to go with?

Damn, I need a garage like that

What spring compressor did you use on your coils? I need to assemble my struts and don't trust the shitty tool that you can rent from Autozone.

Hahah yeah, it's the company's shop. Fortunate to have it at my disposal. I prefer to assemble and disassemble installed in the truck. Using a jack under the LCA and the weight of the truck do the work. Never had luck with spring compressors from the parts house

Lets see that brute force bumper installed! I've tried to order but billy isn't replying. I heard he got swamped with orders on the new bumpers.

Not back from powder coating yet. Hopefully mid next week I'll have it back. Have everything ready for the install. I'm beyond happy with the end product. Billy at Brute Force met all my expectations with the bumper. Fitment will be the final test for me. Have no doubt in the design and structure

Who is doing your powder coating and what are they charging? I have an SOS Streamline that I'll be picking up soon and need to get it powder coated.

Guy up in Kannapolis area. Called EIW Custom Powder Coating. Curious to see the turn out and price. I also too have more stuff coming, so this will be a test run.

So they didn't quote you before you dropped it off? Strange way of doing business.

His answer was "not much" literally... he's to local to me and only 15mins away. So its convenient for me regardless of price. Will definitely let you know the verdict once done

This bumper is on my short list, but in aluminum if he’ll make it. I’m a light weight as it’ll be mostly for show and very little go. Yup, I’m a poser.

I agree, aluminum would be sweet. Adding another 100lbs + or - for a 10k winch too. 4.88's will have to be my next purchase. Just need to make the decision of adding a front locker or not
