Noob Tacoma owner here looking for some advice about lifting my 2019. It's a lease so I'm not gonna go crazy, but some bigger tires are definitely on my list of wants and from what I've read 285/75/16 are gonna require a couple inches of lift (at least). Does something like the ReadyLift 3F/2R get the job done well enough so the 285's will be fine? 2nd question- am I crazy for wanting 285/75? (it seems like many forum members just do 265/75 and maybe a leveling kit) Last question- is there a 'go to' Austin shop to get this shit done at? I can turn wrenches OK but extra time is on short supply right now due to all the freakin' work and kid stuff going on. Here's the truck in it's "before" state. After pics, hopefully, in a couple weeks.

Goto is @Texoma, people trust him to get drunk and beat their trucks with wrenches (including myself)

However... modding a lease? I feel like that can’t go well.. but I’m not sure. Seems like a grey area

You can lift it however tf you want. However, typically quality/ride are proportional to cost.

Welcome! Like Dylan said above, @Texoma is our go to for installs of any kind.

I would recommend doing a coilover lift as opposed to a spacer up front. It will be more costly, but won't sacrifice ride quality as much as a coil spacer would.

I second the @Texoma .. however, read your lease carefully. You have to return it to stock to turn it in, they will charge you for everything they have to put back to stock.. not sure I'd want to be on the hook for that.
