Why do you believe you need an oil stabilzer, what problems are you having with your oil?

My opinion is that you don't need it if you change the oil regularly and use the proper oil.

Oil has addatives already. These addatives that everyone sells is just a money grab. Keep up on maintenance and dont touch addatives.

That is definitely them flat out giving you false information. You should have pulled out your owners manual and asked them to show you where Toyota calls for Lucas oil additive.

Call the GM and explain why all of your future service and purchase visits will be at a different dealer. If the Toyota user manual doesn't mention "add oil stabilizer" in the maintenance schedule, I'm guessing it doesn't need it.

I've seen some shady dealers myself, generally when a tech tries to crowbar you from your wallet it's because upper management encourages them to do so. That's why I say find another dealer over a simple BS upcharge, because heaven knows what'll happen if someday you bring it in for a major issue.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
That only works in conjunction with a throttle body spacer.

True, you should also get a TBS that has a port for water vapor injection, that increases performance and cleans the cylinders and injectors.

I believe you would only need at most maybe Lucas’s oil if you have an old car with a 100,000k and burning oil. In my older civics and integra I added it because I used to burn a lot of oil it helped.... on a fairly new low mileage ish well maintained vehicle with regular oil changes I wouldnt waste the money

Lucas Oil Stabilizer *might* have its place in a worn out engine that is being asked to work really hard. Anything to keep the oil pressure up in that situation is a plus. But in a mostly new Toyota? Nah....
