    Ha ha thanks Rob! Yeah I've always paid my vehicles down low enough so I could use the positive equity as the down payment on a new vehicle.

    Well, my problem is, I get bored too easy. Our first new car (we've been together since 1983) was a 1993 Subaru Loyale. Before that all 10 or so cars were used and nickle and dimed us to death. After keeping the subie 11 years we have always bought new. Each time we bought something I swore I would not mod it and keep it forever.

    I had a 2002 Ram, a 2006 Ram (3/4 t diesel), a 2012 Tundra, a 2014 4Runner and now the 2017 Tacoma.

    I had a 2002 Altima, 2009 TSX, 2012 Crosstour, and then a 2014 Camry, and now the 2016 es300h.

    I also had a 1982 XLS Roadster (HD), a 2005 Road King (HD) a 2010 Night Rod Special (HD) and then a 2012 Tri-Glide Ultra Classic (HD Trike). One of these days I am going to buy a enduro!

    I swore to the wife the es300h and Tacoma would eventually be paid off and kept until they die. The other day she said "hey, have you seen that new Lexus UX? Isn't the 300 coming up on 3 years old?" ROTFLMAO!!!!!

    She's an enabler!!!!!!

    I suppose.....either way, I'm definitely :jellydance::jellydance::jellydance: and can't wait until I can say the same thing.......in 2022.

    Hopefully though, she'll let me slide on the rest of the major mods so when the day comes we can enjoy some vacations and I can move on to overlanding and wheeling trips out west. That's my ultimate goal. I want to get over to Texas to play with my TTC family out there and see all the other members I am friends with along the way, and back! Take like two weeks off and just go!

    Same here. When my youtube channel gets bigger I plan on doing a coast to coast trip. Va to FL then across the southern states to CA then up the coast to WA and back east across the northern states.

    That is a fun trip! Going across TX sucks! Unless you can break it up. I suggest going to six flags over tx and riding the tx giant. That is one hell of a fun rollercoaster. Be prepared to need new kidneys though.

    If my planning is right should be able to pay off my truck mid summer. But i have been putting all extra money towards truck payment. Cutting the loan in half.

    We just paid off my wife's Subaru. The plan is to take her payment and roll it into the Tacoma. Hopefully by this time next year I'll be done with the truck payment too.

    Jesus! What does she do? Also I'm pretty sure I have your ECGS removal tool in my toolbag. Just so you can keep tabs on it. I'll give it back next time we meet up.
