I removed it plumbed the front lines together to a T then a flex line to the new master..then Did the same to the rear. Swapped in a base model vacuum booster and made an adapter plate to run a big wildwood master off of it. Then went on to put a line lock and porportioning valve in the cab under the driver seat...thennnn plumbed in a wilwood hoondie handle and it's like the funnest brake setup ever

Moving this over th the LT thread and not the classifieds.
As far as dmz goes, they can get you a heavier duty leaf pack from deaver upon request depending on how much weight you have. My pack is their standard pack with an add a leaf from the hw pack and I love the ride ht. I’m not a full expo build, but my rear bumper is around 200lbs and I have a full size spare over the axle in the bed, so 300+ lbs on any given day before I add any gear for trips and what not.

As far as travel number go, I talked to Tim about modifying his shackles to er a little more droop out of his kit. He said it would be possible and I could probably pull between 18-19” in doing so, but those last 2” of droop would be useless really since the leafs will start to separate. He said the giant kit gets travel numbers from poor geometry and is great for people that want to brag numbers but not care about performance. He also stated that the camburg kit he had in his shop got their numbers at droop with leaf separation and like his, only had 16-17” of useable travel. He could have been down talking competitors, but I already had his kit so it’s not like he was trying to sell me on it. The giant kit has had bad reviews so that’s probably accurate, and unfortunately I haven’t seen anything on the camburg kit to confirm or deny his opinion.

Talking to the guys at Deaver about fat ass tacos, it sounds like their high performance leaf pack is good for about 1200# above stock, or around 3k# on the rear axle.

I may do links just so I don't have to out the truck and my expo gear on a serious diet...

I've got one you can try out if you want to - if you're not rubbing at the ride height you want then you wouldn't need it.

Most guys just use oem replacement Wheeler's superbumps since hydro bumps for a 3.5 kit will engage during a significant amount of the up travel. If you're dead set on using hydro bumps I've got a new set of locked offroad bumps I could sell you at a decent discount.

Any pointers to someone who will be diving in to the install in a week or so. I am confident with the process just wondering if there are any of those random tricks or tips you discover only by going through the pains of trial and error.

Yep looking forward to it. How well does your softtopper play with your bedcage? Thats one thing I am working through now and trying to figure out so the softopper can still be stored and swivel back and forth.

It works fine for me, but to be honest I will probably remove my softtopper sooner than later. The top of the bed cage is just at the height of the bed at the front so it doesn't really interfere with the soft topper on the sides at all.
