My weekend project is turning this bad boy into a custom shift knob for my truck. 25mm cannon shell. Will have to be coated so I don’t cook my hand come June.

1/3 there, Condo living = no room to store a bunch of stuff and no room for a little workshop.

 

I did my regear while living in a studio. Toolbox at the end of the kitchen counter, use the top of the box as your workbench. Then a little carport mechanicing.

How long will they be available

 

Hours of sanding and hours more to go of wet sanding and polishing. Then comes the tough part of mounting it to the shifter. Weight is already perfect for throwing, and maybe even better than my stock knob. We’ll see shortly.
