I also noticed a nice dent in my tailgate from where Adam bumped into me. Luckily it was wide and shallow. I took my tailgate skin off, gave it a push and it popped back out.

 

Hmmm. I mean, if you add a louder muffler they will be more decibels no matter what. Maybe because my system on the Tundra was completely custom. Also the resonator on that system did not run parallel like the ones in that video, it was more at a 60-70 degree angle. Part of the installation required you to drill a big ass hole in the pipe and then using u bolts, bolt it to the pipe. The resonator had a large taping sleeve welded to it.

That's definitely the mod to do I hear if you don't want to pay for the OEM pad. Nice job! That bitch is thick!

 

yeah mine is parallel, giant af and was a pain to align in the right place as it didnt have much room to clear around the tc skid and brace

 

On the Tundra, you had to do it just right to get in front of the spare tire. So you had to fit it, mark it, then drill the hole. I am sure mine was a little off. Then you use high heat RTV to seal it. Pretty simple if you can't weld.
