Biggest tires you can go without a lift?

Hello everyone,

I just recently bought some trd 17” wheels for my 2019 Taco. Does anyone know what’s the biggest size tires I can go without a lift?

Any recommendations on some nice all terrain tires for them?

As stated above 265/70/17 is about it. They will fit nicely on those wheels. Unless you do hard off-roading try to get C-rated tires.

 

You should try 285/70r17. Fits like a glove

rybo830, is running 275/70/17 BFG KO2 same wheel as you have there. No lift.

You can fit 35s without a lift..... you just gotta trip the fenders, bumpers, cab mount, doors, and a little bit of the hood.

255/85r16 on stock wheels or 255/80r17 with the right back spacing will get you 33s.

 

My truck came with those wheels when it was new. They are great looking but hard to keep clean. A little advice is to get a small round brush that will fit through all the slots. Just make sure it doesn't have a metal wire it the tip. You will scratch your wheels. Mine came with 275/70/17 but I'm lifted and still really close to rubbing.
