Today could have gone better...I installed two garage doors. I know now what they make you do in hell.

And my g/f texted me said she spum out and totalled her tC at the track. She went to a track day class or something. We couldn't get her 88 CRX running right so she decided to take the tC. I questioned that decision but she had paid for the class already and was gung-ho about going.

And we were going to have "the talk" today too.

Lots of fun waiting when I get home :-/

Its the 'do you even want to be in this relationship?' talk. She's completely disengaged. I came back from vacation 2 weeks ago and gave a shot at getting things to a decent spot again but it didn't seem to be getting anywhere.

I expect I'll be flying solo by the end of the weekend. We're living together though but there's no bad blood between us. If it goes down I imagine we'll ride out the lease. It would probably work to her advantage anyway since she's got a busted piece of shit to drive and payments on a car that is only good for parts.

I'll see if I can get some pics - they're probably on her phone. I'm at home now but she had gone out to drink by the time I got back.

She said she wasn't hurt. Both airbags went off and her and the ride-along instructor were both wearing full-face helmets.

She said she got into a corner too hot and let off the gas. As soon as she did the rear end kicked out and she ran the front end into a barrier. I don't know how fast she was going.

The car was towed to a shop close to the track (Summit Point). Its about 90 minutes from here. She got a ride home from someone else at the event.

I guess sometime soon she'll be renting a car hauler and I'll find out what its like to tow all that weight with the Taco.

Yeah...it was her first time on a track though. She's done autox only up to this point.

ouch shes making payments on the TC still you said? That sucks, cuz insurance wont cover track accidents, unless she has some kind of rider on her policy.

GL with it all and glad shes okay.

Thanks guys - I'm sure things will turn out fine for both of us.

She had full coverage on the tC but like you said, no track coverage. She didn't look into any track specific insurance...its all on her :( I actually didn't know there was insurance for racing. Interesting...

    Lots.
Had a "friend" take his car to Summit Point wreck. Trailered it home. Then purposely had another friend tow it into a tree at 40 mph along a side road in the country. It worked lol.... Until his insurance company found out and he got arrested for insurance fraud.
