Make sure you are adding enough salt. And leave it at room temperature long enough for the juices to expel, then go back into the steak. At least an hour, more like an hour and a half at room temperature.

    And so it begins.

And bacon on the capsteak of course. The sirloin is for youngest, he likes it well done. Whatever to each their own it is his choice.

    SNF?

That's how much they had them for when i tried one. The SNF I found to be not better than prime. But lemme know if you try one!

It was good. But I saw no major difference from prime that justified the price. I really need to do a side by side cook to really compare. You in for a taste test comparison? Choice vs prime vs wagyu? :D that's a lot of brisket to eat...

Sorry for your loss man. I know the feelings all too well. I lost my gramps just over a month after he and my grams had come to my wedding to see me marry a girl they both absolutely adored. He was more like my father and they pretty much raised me.

It ain’t manly to say but I sit here typing this with tears in music eyes for your loss and remembering mine fondly. My gramps taught me many things and I can proudly say I am the man I am today because of him. He was in the army and as I grew I never got tired hearing about his time serving. Funny thing is as I got older he told me of other stories about times in places like Korea and the crap him and his friends pulled.

I say cheers to your gramps and all our grandparents. Without their guidance none of would likely be the people we are today.

I’m tellin ya man we made need to get on the comp and break out autocad and design one where we just put a whole tree in it. Say one that can hold and cook 100-200 butts in a single cook. I think maners sh is big enough. We just bought a 4 axis CNC so we can engrave some cool shit on it. Also ordered some powder coating equipment but we might need a bigger oven for this.

I did prime vs select hahaha prime was a lot greaser and more tender. Choice I like but never did a side by side. Choice vs prime vs wagyu. That’s a lot of meat :spending:
