There is a Tesla "Gallery" in San Antonio, you can go look at them and I think test drive them but you can't buy them lol you have to order one on line and then pick it up there...

My 2014 regular cab was nice and simple. Made a few comfort changes to it that made it more useful to me. In order for me to go back to a Toyota a Tacoma would have to get get better fuel economy while maintaining its current tow rating. Keep the 2.7l or the 3.5l but add an engine that has on demand power or quick spooling turbo.

V8s are dead in consumer cars and trucks for the most part. I think Toyota needs to work with Honda (or Ford) about a 300hp 330lbft I-4 or I-5 that gets 27-30mpg on the highway and 20mpg when towing a half loaded 6x12 enclosed trailer @65mph.

Otherwise the cost of an upgrade to the 2020 just won't ever be with it to me.

Plus a third hand tool in the seat cushion to take care of said chubby. If they went electric they could downsize to first gen dimensions once more.
