Sorry or happy to bring those feelings back.
I had not really reflected and wept recently but this all makes me well up.

Just a thought Jeff, is there any other members here that are local to you that may be able to help you with the piling snow issue at mom's. I am sure there are a few that wouldn't mind helping out.

I am sure there are those who would.
I don’t think I would ask someone to do what she’s looking for.
    K here we go.
She has to have it the way dad did it.
    6CA351C1-CAFE-47F1-A7C2-7E625BEDE962.jpg
    So this is their place.
They have plants and Bush’s everywhere so no place for snow.
I’ve deleted 2 plants just to have somewhere to push snow over the bank.
The porch’s need to be cleaned off, the roof has to raked and that snow needs to be moved away from the foundation.
Also it needs to be kept clear on the sides of the house for mom to keep the the gutter drains open.
    It’s below 0?
The stone paths have bird feeders and she has to be able to get to them easy.
Also dad cleared snow that would block moms view outside from certain basement windows.

I cleaned all the banks scraped the driveway so you could see 80% black.
Snoblowed a 40’ by 20’ section I’d say in back and did for paths and bird feeders and gutters.
Moms happy now but it’s freakin snowing again.

Oh well looks like more seat time on the old mans tractor.
Good thing their awesome neighbors gave me a key to his company’s diesel tank.

That story is not far from me and gave me nightmares...so so sad. A neighbor saw the child laying there and thought it was a doll, till the parent came outside.  :pout:

    Funny story.
2 weeks ago like 25 below wind chills. We had 18+ inches of snow forecast.
I went to make room move banks from plowing.
Tractor strarted but would not move.
It’s in a quansit hut and I try to get it out side while it’s rolling coal.
I about died trying to get it to go.
Let it run in the hut like 20 mins to warm up. Still wouldn’t go every time I’d put it in gear it’d shut off.
Gotta be a switch but what one.
I noticed a jumper in the cup holder and said he’s got that there for a reason.
Turns out neither dad or I have enough lead in our ass to activate the seat safety switch.

    That’s just sad!
Not sure how I would deal with knowing this.

I really enjoy the time on dads tractor.
It was his pride and joy!
Mom won’t let my brother touch it.
I originally wanted to sell it so mom could put it in her bank account.
I figured the guy plowing would take care of it.
But he’s cheap and mom likes having me there filling in for dad.
    Damm I miss him.
    Love you dad.

Gotta say TW has had its ups and downs.
But you have a been a huge help for me and I thank you all!
I’ve reread this thread a lot and see where I was at.
Thank you for being there for someone you don’t know!
