    Be very careful not to over torque those valve cover bolts. I believe it’s measured in inch pounds NOT foot pounds.
    They snap off easily if over torqued

    Looks like your wire loom heat shield tabs are busted like mine.

    Here is a solution if you want them attached instead of flopping around

    Scrub down the inside of those valve covers, they look really dirty from not changing the oil on time if you can.
    Here are mine with 200,000 plus miles on them.

    Those look amazing. It have scrubbed the other side down really well. About to satrt the driver side.

    One last thing is I hope you got new rubber washers for under the bolts heads.

    They get brittle and squat with time and heat

    Yep got those too. I'm pretty scared this thing won't run when I put it all back together. Shouldve paid someone else to do it... But I thought I could handle it and I am.... But it's still scary!
