    Retains factory cutoff an wont blind other drivers like led/hids in a non-projector housing. Its one of my fav mods.

    Aftermarket housings may appear similar to OEM, but their reflective properties are not as good. They tend to scatter the light more. They also tend to leak and fade pretty quickly. @crashnburn80 can back me up.

    The reflector optics are the heart of your headlight system. If your optics are poor as most aftermarket units, lighting upgrades are less effective and performance suffers. No aftermarket headlight is going to match Toyota’s OEM optic precision. I highly recommend using OEM assemblies which are made in the USA for best performance. There are links in the thread posted earlier with cheapest prices I have found on the TRD smoked chrome units. Otherwise picking up good condition used takes offs from people selling on the forum is good more cost effective option too.
