I just fixed my friends bedroom door. His step son kicked the door in, breaking the jamb and knocking the trim off. This happened 6 months ago, he had confiscated the step son’ laptop and had it locked in his room. He got divorced a few months ago because the kids mother wasn’t much better behaved. I had to cut out 12” of the jamb and fit a new piece in. After a little bondo and paint and it looks like new. He’s dating again and doesn’t want his 9 year old daughter walking in on him and his new girlfriend. I charged one beer and a two tacos. It took two hours, but I had to bring a table saw, miter saw, guns and a compressor, otherwise it would’ve been just one beer.
