Compound charger is the only way to go.

Does a stroker kit, with a turbo count as compound? Pretty please?

No, but if you ditch the stroker kit, you can bump boost and complete the flow chart.

Lol. Why ditch? Only possible weak link is the upper intake plenum. Everything else can handle 20, easily.

Does anyone know if the injector port insulators/dampers are supposed to be installed only one way? It seems uniform in size (doesnt taper out on one end), but there is a little edge on one side. I think that may be from the mold when it was made but i want to make sure i dont install these upside down on my injectors. Anyone have knowledge on this?

I think there is directionality to them. I matched the injectors that I removed. Can’t remember the orientation at the moment. I can go take a picture of the ones I removed from a perfectly stock truck.

This is out of the FSM, and it makes me think the edge should be towards the top of the injector, but it never specifies it anywhere in there

Alright so here’s what I got. The dealership that installed the TRD supercharger installed the groove side up away from the engine. The factory injectors from my 60k take out (that I believe to be undisturbed has the groove side down toward the engine. Because they were consistent and from the factory, that’s what I’ve matched with my 62#/hr injectors. So....maybe it doesn’t matter.4AF460CA-B318-4265-A7FC-D6945BF8185D.jpg16384981-7C09-409D-8396-599775992993.jpg

I did mine with the lip at the top. I figure it's there as a secondary dust type seal.

Guessing you didn’t order one for me huh. Looks good though. I’ll be adding a couple hundred lbs of steel to the truck soon so I’m sure the itch for more power will follow. Haven’t done a power mod in a while.

I did order two actually! One may be for my dad’s truck. I was surprised at the price, Hub kit with pulley rip mod was $100. $5 shipping. Rip mod only added an extra $10 to the price.

Quit dragging yer feet! Smaller pulley and ovtune up! I gotta make it back out to Az this year again! I’ll also be in Laughlin again mid June if you are gonna be out there.

Anyone know if it's safe to run a product like Seafoam through the throttle body on our supercharged engines? Don't want to risk damaging the rotors if it's harmful to the coating or something like that.

I wouldnt pour a liquid like that through the sc. First off the rotors are close tolerance so you dont want to potentially hydro lock the sc. Also going in concentrated like that could wash the grease out of the rear needle bearings.
I've Seafoamed a few na cars no problem but I wouldnt put it in pre sc.

Just get methanol injection and you wont have to worry about clean internals :D

Truth be told...I've done it before, about a year ago. It didn't even occur to me until after I did it that it could've been bad for the supercharger...but I haven't noticed any ill effects since then. I may have gotten lucky though.

Anyway I won't be doing it again, seems the general consensus is that it could cause problems so I won't push my luck. I'll just pour it into the gas tank, thanks

Crap I just realized I have the 7th injector so if I put it into the gas tank, some will end up in the supercharger anyway. Probably not as potentially harmful but still.

I know not that much can be sucked into the vacuum line at once so most likely no issues but I wouldnt risk it, especially the potential dissolving of the bearing grease.
How many miles on your sc?
