Rgr that. Reckon I'd still go farther than you with the T4R on worn down 32s and open diffs? :D Honestly, depending on how well the traction control works, you probably could go places I couldn't.

Yeah, but some people think the 30 mph speed limit is way too fast. I'd probably seem that way to me too unless I get the new suspension on the T4R before the meet...which shouldn't be hard actually.

CB does fine for all the meets I've been to for the last 4 and a half years through 4 different states. I thought about upgrading to have both but havent found the need yet.

Midland 75-822 can be run handeld or with cig lighter and portable whip antenna if you want a quick solution. I use the Cobra 75 WX ST, with the main box under my center console.

I have extra space available in spot 3. My buddy canceled. So I'll probably just bring the small tent, unless whoever wants or needs to share a larger tent. Then I could bring my Cabin tent.

This was actually my first CB. I wanted a quick set up and just ran a coax through my back window and mounted an antenna in my bed. I left the CV in the glove box and the coax just laying under my bed mat when not in use that set up actually did really well. After a while I went to a more permanent solution a couple years ago and got the uniden pro520xl since is was compact enough to mount in my center consale while leaving storage space. No complaints on this unit for the price

    Welcome to TacomaWorld!

Are you sure you booked the right weekend? Last time I checked it said the site wasn't available, probably due to construction. It's possible that could have changed, but just double check for me that you booked on February 8th-10th. Thanks.

Totally forgot about camping with friends this weekend. I'll be down in the Hog Island Campground.

Had it marked on my calendar for camping. Thought it was just me trying to make time to go camping in general.

Doubt I'll be able to stop by as the wife will be with me. Shame i stumbled on this thread so late.

This week is going to be nuts for me. Have to get a set of wheel spacers tomorrow, hopefully earlier than later. Still have to install the diff drop and get Natty aligned. Then I have appointments I have to be at Wednesday and Thursday. The OGT is going to have to get me to Wednesday's appointment, but I'm really hoping Natty gets me to Thursday's or I'm screwed. I'll have to pull a Dom, show up in a 3rd Gen T4R on Saturday and sleep in the vehicle. On the plus side, at least that should be more comfortable than it was when I tried it with the OGT.
