    Nice I played with motor on my mustang before this taco and learned if you don't have a second ride then going into the engine is a nightmare

    A little something every chance we get.
    :rofl::rofl::rofl:
    I'm only laughing a little!
    I've seen so many posts in TW that (literally quote) "I put enormous, heavy tires on all four corners, and threw a matching spare on top in the wind, and I replaced all the bumpers with rock solid steel stuff, and winches for 30 tons fore and aft. Oh, And I have 6" lift, so it's way up in the air, and I put on steel sliders, because aluminum won't cut it, and all steel skid plates. I go full out for camping, so I have all that too, on top of the truck and bed! I got 17-19 mpg when I got this truck, now I'm only getting 7-8 mpg!!!!! What the heck!"

    Not picking on anyone at all - they are all choices we want to make. But to see so many posts (not in this group at all), I mean - cause and effect?

    I have it on mine. For me, it's MPG rated! Because I'm like that.

    I don't "worry" about the Taco mileage, because our driver is a comfy Hybrid. But I do monitor every tank, and everything that is done is logged and in the cab. With the tires I have, it is a 16-19 mpg truck, whatever the chore or pleasure. That is fine.

    And no, no spare gas. I always fill up around half way mark so that it looks like the CAR gas fill. If I were on a long highway only drive, I might be tempted. Little Big Red is not the mileage master that a couple of the past trucks were. Your highway tires make a huge difference in getting there.

    I never worry about the mpg’s. Vehicles are a tool to me build them for what I want them to do. My service truck gets 10mpg if I’m lucky. Dodge Cummins is pretty good at 19mpg.

    Yep, built to do what you expect them to do. That's the difference between you , a lot of our friends, and those TW posts I was trying to point to. They do all these , and expect no changes! Here's an easy example - I try to back your BBQ trailer down CCC drive with MY truck! :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I have no complaints about people who know what they are doing, and want to do at all!

    BTW, still "white out" in the dark?

    Well I was a little worried if I was going to be able to pull it out of there but it did great. Talked with the mine about an hour ago an all outside activity’s are shutdown. I’m just hanging out in Anchorage.

    OK, tough question - is hanging out in Anchorage, on the way to work, they same as BEING at work for pay? Just curious, as to if they buying the beer so to speak!:anonymous:

    I had a lot more faith in your pull out than the parking! Tacos will pull mightily for what they have. Large diff between new and old though. And traction. I think I'm going to have to get with Matt and Chris before any beach trip for a true trac. Wife would never know the difference.... She's not fond of my modding up the truck to do the offroad stuff, though I do hope to take her and the truck with Mark on an overland trip.

    We toured the Hill Country with some old friends (in cars) and went to wineries, distilleries, glass blowers, etc. She loved a day trip. She'd also never been where we went mostly. That trip you took with them last month would have been real cool, and I think that she would have liked it!
