So, bought the new place last summer. Built in '99, we are the 2nd owners. Guessing in order to save a few $$, the po's never had the interior painted. Just sprayed the texture and that was it! So I'm sure you guys can figure out what me and the wife have been up to. To old for this shit. :annoyed:

Hello fellas and ladies. Sixteen hour day. Froze pipes in three different buildings today. Yeah let's schedule an electrical shutdown on a day that has three degree temps in the am. Bunch of morons pulling down six figure salaries making these decisions. An institution of higher education my ass...

    • What condiments do you prefer for your hot dogs? Think carefully! My hot dog chili. It's the ONLY condiment needed.
    • What snack cakes Little Debbie’s, Hostess or Drake?! Little Debbie's Oatmeal cream cookies
    • What is your preferred hardware for removing the younglings from the lawn? Old Halloween trick....leave a walkie talkie in the mailbox, turned up loud. Kids walk by the house or come up the driveway I'll grab the other unit and growl in it. Suckers cut and run.
    • Dog or Cat? This is not a question about what is on the dinner menu! Dogs until the day I die.
    • Goat Porn? Cristy Canyon was the ticket when porn was coming onto my radar.
    • Coffee or Tea? Those are your only choices! Coffee....dark roasted & brewed strong.
    • Bacon Hells yes....in everything possible.
    • Toilet paper rolls, over or under? Neither. The shitter I use is my very own. Rolls are staged standing on end....with spares. Ain't got time to fool with unrolling from a dispenser. Fast & efficient. In and out.

My Hot Dog Chili, adopted from the Man Cave Meals version:

    • 12 oz beer (I like dark beers for cooking)
    • 1 lb very lean ground beef
    • 1 onion finely diced
    • 1 1/4 cup ketchup
    • 1/3 cup yellow mustard
    • 3 tsp sugar
    • 1 tbsp cider vinegar
    • 1 tbsp salt
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tbsp chili powder
    • 1tbsp roostershire sauce
Brown the beef about 2/3 the way done, breaking it up finely as you go.

    Drain off the fat.

Add all the other ingredients and bring to a low simmer until it thickens to your desired consistency.

    Leftovers freeze just fine.

My family freaks out over this chili on their hot dogs and brats.
