I don’t have a shell but might want to price replacing the window if you haven’t to make sure your getting a deal in the shell. Window replacement for a shell I think is rather expensive. I have a bed cover. @tweakit88 has a sweet shell!

Yea I tried pricing out a window at the dealer in Fulton dale and they asked for the serial number which I don’t have, getting windoors in a new cap is 146$ but who knows about replacement

 

I've had a couple and a bedrack now. I miss things about my camper shell but others I do not. I think they look great, they are weatherproof, allow for lockable storage and no tying down. Can put a roof rack on for lots of storage or a tent.

BUT

They are heavy. Not a one person job at all putting one on or taking off. If you have a hoist or a garage lift or something that's perfect, I did not. That's why I changed to a bedrack.

Yea that’s in a new top they may try and price higher to replace a used one, I’ve got a spot in my garage where I can install a hoist. Thinkin about trying to get the serial number from the guy, this would prolly be a buy it and store till I get the funds to replace the window and color match

 

If you get a deal and can get fixed for a good price where if you decided to flip it later you get your money back I say go for it.

 

Yea that’s what I’m thinkin fix the window n just see if I like it before I color match, somebody posted it in here it’s only 225$ and that top new starts at 1,850

Freakin briar city out there. Went kamikaze on the polaris, one hand on the steering wheel, crouched down and in the middle. The thickest briar patch like six feet high covered most of the logging trail. I probably did two hundred feet like that. I and the dogs had about all we could take.

Anyone have any thoughts on clearing one Satan's worth of briar patch effeciently?

The thought crossed my mind...then I remebered a certain bear with a hat. I didn't know why I thought of this bear, but as I looked around for an answer, I saw a lot of pine straw/trees and I thought to myself "this looks flammable, too" so I decided against it.

Still don't know what the bear meant...

 

Might be able to talk with that bear and see if he might be able to help you with a controlled burn. I heard a couple talking the other day and they were talking about helping someone on their land with one.

 

I’ve had a few neighbors look, but none come out and say anything negative. I just tell them I’ve got a water problem where it’s coming down the hill and staying on my basement wall.

I did however accumulate some dirt to level digging out the hill and 3 stumps so win either way.

Technically I think I’m suppose to have a permit once building starts for shop. Since the backhoe is family owned I don’t have any money in yet so no fouls.

 

Haha yeah that's not a bad idea, just don't know if it's worth the trouble/risk. I remember someone telling me about a spray that's super strong...can't remember the name of it, but not something you grab at home Depot.

If I could just clear the briars I would be set. I was able to make a nice stream crossing and everything. But there's no way I'm taking my Tacoma through all the brush and briars, even after the Polaris flattened them out.

 

Yours also wont support an RTT I bet.

I would venture to say this is correct. It is meant for short ladders and other things that are too long for the bed.

A small rtt and 300 lbs of people will crush that one.

 

No sir, this is just for those situations like this. It was bought cheap enough we can flip it if needed, but we’re getting use out of it.

Thompson Tractor where I work will get you hooked up, I can’t get you a discount though. Not my department.
