Cancel your order, go with demello sliders and go through Erick @state48overland. Best customer service and your not out the full amount waiting on product until it's done.

It's kinda shocking how much inventory (assuming most of it is ready to go) is sitting there and they couldn't seem to pull their shit together to get those orders out.....granted I assume everything that was sitting there was prepaid which is kinda depressing.

Makes you wonder just WTF was going on there.

Seriously man.....your getting HREW steel sliders for more than a lot of people get DOM sliders for.

Reconsider if they have been giving you the runaround and have been given multiple opportunities to get your order out.

Honestly, it came down to shipping with these guys. Everyone else wanted 350-400$ for shipping (I live on an island, so no freight facilities)... it sucks, I know, the DOM would have been an extra couple hundred on top of that, and I really didn't need the DOM. It's an overland build and needed them for that duty and basic parking-lot numb-skull protection :)

Major inconsistencies from brand to brand...

I made an order from AllPro just as their troubles started. One item was sliders. They said 8 to 10 weeks lead time. 8 days later I came home from work and they were in front of my garage.

We all know the horror story that is Pelfreybilt. I ordered bumpers, skids, lights, etc, just prior to their implosion. Was told 8 weeks+. Got everything in less than 2 weeks.

I hear everyone else having problems....I'm just extremely lucky I suppose.

I should add looking at the bolt on mounting solution that I feel either BAMF or Mobtown's implementations are superior. I'm running BAMF myself.

I'd pull the plug on those for sure, too. I paid a little more than half that to get Mobtown bolt on to my door, shipping was $180 and his price for what I bought has gone down $75 since 2016. They weren't finished and powdercoat cost about $100 locally.

I thought the same thing: $1,000 for a set of sliders!??!

Sorry you're getting the run-arounds OP. Like others have said..time to get your money back and put it towards another company that delivers. I also bought my from 4xinnovations about 9-10 years ago for less than $400 shipped while I was still active duty. I understand with you having a long bed + bolt on the cost goes up quite a bit compared to my welded, DOM w/kickout order.

I have yet to do business with this company but I hear SOS Offroad Concepts makes great products! :D 2019 they'll probably be getting my business with their awesome black Friday deals.

    Good luck!

I just priced out BAMF bolt-ons with DOM & kickouts and it was $805 pre-shipping. I used to live in Mount Vernon and my sliders shipped to the Conway Freight terminal by XPO Logistics and from what I recall shipping costs were similar. Just food for thought. Mount Vernon is like 45 minute drive from Oak Harbor.

I'd make that drive for sure! lol A lot of the other Companies wouldn't list any option for freight shipping when adding the address. I couldn't custom ship to places like Mt. Vernon, or Seattle... it was a headache, especially on DET internet

-the crappy part is I was weighing my options between these guys and made the wrong call. Damn It!

Prices Look so much better, what are shipping rates like? I see that the rates don't post, but they contact you with options after purchase. Any ideas? If this doesn't work out with CBi (which it hasn't really, at all), then I will be looking at BAMF and MobTown...and RCI... damn, all these other, and what seems better, companies I could have gone with... Why did I choose CBi!!!

Seeing that quote above makes my insides hurt a little bit. Mobtown offers a 10% off military discount, all sliders are DOM, excellent bolt on design, etc. They can ship stuff pretty cheap too, though you being on an island may throw a wrench into that. I say send an email to team@mobtownoffroad.com and see what they can do for you.

My shipping from BAMF wasn't bad at all and it went cross country. Talk with Jerry, I'm sure he'll work with you on getting them to you.

I’ve been waiting 4 months for a hc rear bumper from cbi. They’ve been telling me the same bs. I’m going to cancel my order tomorrow. Cbi sucks! All of my other armor is from RCI without incident. I knew I should have stuck with the local guy’s.

That hasn’t been my experience with SOS off road concepts @EddyRRT . I realize many companies struggle with lead times for reasonable reasons but not every company gives the run around as described by the OP.
