Radflo

Hey guys. Does anyone have any experience with this company? I'm finally getting around to upgrading my suspension and as of right now, I'm considering FOX, King and Radflo.
Radflo has a complete suspension kit that comes with 2.5's w/ reservoirs and compression adjusters all around, and Total Chaos UCAs for under 2800.

Any info/help would be greatly appreciated, thanks everyone.

Good deal, just realize that you will still need AALs or replacement spring packs in the rear.

 

Is that a good deal? I know for first gens, it's about $1k in the front and $1k for the back, and about $800 for the UCAs.

 

I lied guys, the deal i mentioned does NOT include UCAs. I just spoke to Glen, the owner of Radflo and he confirmed that the kit is sold w/o UCAs.

 

I put the Fox 2.0 with AAL on the rear. What a nightmare. First off the shocks (0-1.5" lift) do not come with the proper mounts for the bottom of the shock. They are missing the metal bushing. Fox customer service is almost next to non-existent.

Second, after the lift I have been searching for the source of a clunking noise. I just tracked it down to one of the shocks when it tops out, it just constantly clunks. Search is on for a replacement.

 

I was so close to pulling the trigger on radflo. Seems like they are right there with regards to high quality control. I'd go that or ADS if you're out west and you can have those shops look at your truck at the shop.

 

Radflo is much more popular with the FJ guys. Nearly bought them when I had my FJ. Only thing I remember about them having issues was to go with the 2.5". The 2" fronts had some issues, cant recall exactly what, I think they were under pressurized. But overall they're a less popular option that had less complaints than the Fox options.

 

Local Jeep guys like Radflo. One of them recently got a Tundra and is putting Radflo suspension on as we speak. I've no experience with them myself.

 

I've been running Radflo for 5 months now.

The first thing I'd like to mention is that I only have personal experience comparing to a bilstein 5100 setup with OME coils and an Icon AAL.

I'm currently running Radflo's 2.5 coilovers w/resi's up front and 2.0's w/resi's in the rear. I have TC UCA's and OME Dakar leaf springs. I also have the All Pro flip kit and Timbren bump stops.

Comparatively, the current setup is night and day different when running fast. I pay a lot of attention to how other rigs respond to terrain and most of the time they're running Icon or King. Visually there are times when I feel my truck is handling better than those I'm wheeling with, could be biased though.

The front coilovers have handled so well that I still haven't been motivated to replace the factory bumps. I wheel hard and these coilovers are solid.

The 2.0's don't seem to be keeping up with me the same and the Timbren bumps were a horrible decision. haha

Glenn is working with me personally to improve the performance of Radflo shocks in our application. I'm optimistic that this is going in the direction of only getting better.

My experience with Radflo and customer service has been remarkable. Glenn and Chris have both been super responsive in helping me improve my trucks performance within the restrictions of its design. Great team and the quality of product is up there at the top for sure.

Radflo has shocks run on Ultra4 rigs. That speaks loud enough to me when it comes to quality and performance. I'll never be able to push my truck that hard so I know my shocks can handle anything I throw at them.

Hope this was somewhat helpful. Reading it over I sound like a salesman. haha I'm just really happy with the product thus far and any complaints or wanting for more is heard and responded to.

 

@MADSTEEZE I'm currently looking at some Radflo 2.5 non-resi's. You still liking yours? Any new thoughts on them?

 

I had a friend who had that clunking issues with his foxes as well. I forgot where he got them from but he sent them back and they revalved it for him; got rid of the issue.

 

I went to return them to Fox and they wanted my credit card. I will never buy Fox anything again. Worst customer service.

 

He got them from a vendor that had great customer service, forgot who, maybe Wheelers? But yeah I heard Fox's customer service is no beuno now.

 

Running 2.5 raflo with resi and cdc for a couple years now. Out of the other big 3 options- I can say they are on par quality wise and much more affordable. (at least back when i purchased)

 

Trying to bring this one back to life. I just ordered @Radflo Shocks all around for my Third gen. I have extended travel with clicker in front and clickers in the rear. I am pairing them with the Icon RXT leaf pack. I will post pics when everything gets here and before and after of the truck. Does anyone that is running @Radflo Shocks have some pictures to share? Close ups of the shocks? Truck before and after? I think @Radflo Shocks needs a little more coverage on TW seems like they are a solid option but not as well known in our community as the big three.

 

Looking forward to it. I have a quote right now for $2590 for Radflo 2.5 w/ resi front and rear + SPC UCA shipped. I was looking at Fox but hear their CS is crap.

 

I’ll second Fox’s CS being crap. When I sent my stuff in to get rebuilt it took them almost 2 months to get it back to me. When I got it back one of the coil overs was not assembled correctly.

 

Oh man, that’s some BS.

 

Any updates, pictures or thoughts on the radflo? It’s between king and radflo for me. Leaning towards radflo but man I sure do love the blue.
