I need to hose the tundra down. The Tacoma got driven on Monday for the first time in 2 weeks, and may get taken out today. We shall see

 

Decided to do some smoked chicken wings for the Super Bowl party I'm attending....I smoke them about 45 min a side and then put them right over the coals for 2 min to crispen them up. I sauce most of them but leave a few rub only wings for those that don't want sauce. I'm in 3 square pools. A8-N0, A0-N5, and A7-N1.

I got the wife's car and my truck washed today. Foam cannon FTMFW! I had to bring the bottle inside for about an hour and soak it in a sink full of hot water because it froze in the garage... After that, it was quick, painless and I got to stay completely dry! Not as good as a hand wash, but got the salt off and pressure washed the undercarriage of both vehicles.

 

Same for me on payouts
I went half’s on those squares @ $110 each
Other 10 is for food and drink.
I just stay home and watch....safer

Truck looks great for now....
Also, found a couple sets of quickfists on the hook @ Cabelas....
Need to look into making a couple drop mounts, or something...

The touchless car wash that’s about a mile away is terrible. I took it there last weekend and the truck came out looking only marginally better than when it went in. I brought it home and hand washed it, waste of money.

 

There's a touchless car wash near me that always did well on my cars, but not so well on the truck. I wonder how my 4Runner will do going through these with a sunroof.

 

Every so often, this place much change the nozzles or something because it does do a good job at times. I don’t use it much, I prefer to hand wash. It is good to know I got though, this is the longest vehicle i’ve ever owned.

 

Yeah, for the $12, and a decent underside rinse...
Especially considering I do not have a garage, and a dirt/mud driveway... I will roll it through every couple weeks.



Not too bad for a touchless

 

Does yours get the windshield wiper outline off the windshield? That always drives me nuts if that stays but it’s tough for a touchless to get them off.

 

Psh I'm once a week.

 

Honestly, never looked.
Its a quick stop-between proper baths, and in the case of the Charger, a proper detail(in fact, need to schedule tye spring detail for that soon).

 

Remember, I dont DD my truck, I have a van that sees all the mileage.
