I pay a few dollars more for my oil to not go to Walmart.

 

If its the name brand o'reilly its made by wix just relabeled. Just like the napa filters. I would suggest the oreily oil as well its made by castrol.

 

Looks like Bosch makes a good filter for under $7

I have a couple thousand miles to go b4 a change . Going to do it myself . Used to do all my other vehicles but my 2008 is the first and only vehicle I bought brand new . Always had the dealer do it and it was around $40 . Last change was at my guy I’ve been using for everything else and with synthetic it was over $90

 

That sounds funny, the company that makes bosch n champion filters are part of mobil oils. But it is one of the best filters i have seen in my days. And expensive.

I bought mine used. The four cylinder requires 0-20 synthetic. I do it myself, I’m not paying someone $100 for 15 minutes of work.

s tgat for the synthetic fitler media? I would second quess it at that price. The ones we tested at work were about 50. But the oem fitler tested against it is a 35 dallor filter.

Sorry fir the filter bombardment. I work for a cat dealer. They test alot of different filters n oils. Constantly.

What I can't understand is Oil Change intervals on US Engine's are 5K Miles. So why are my Oil Changes only 5K Kilometers apart here. Hell of a difference between 5K Miles & 5K Kilometers or did the Owners Manual Folks just get Lazy & said Close Enough.
