Nice. Let me know what you think once you install it. I’ll be bummed if they stop offering it.

The trailer harness plug is hidden behind the license plate. Check out the installation instructions to see how it fits:
We temporarily removed the swing arm option for that bumper from the site. We are making a few design changes to the latch and swing out so it uses some of the same parts as our new tr4 rear bumper.

    See response above

Would be nice if Toyota threw the BSM sensors into the tail lights like on the new JL. IMG_14681.jpg

Went to the C4 website and I didn't see any BSM bumper stuff there. Hopefully it's still being worked on.

We discontinued that product due to BSM system malfunctions.

Any reparation for those that did buy the bumper because of the bsm? I really like the bumper and am not trying to start anything, I'm just pretty bummed that the key feature I wanted doesn't work. I can't backup without a bunch of false alarms going off from the BSM.

Sometimes it can be fixed by adjusting the bumper. The sensors in the bumper need to coordinate with the ones in the side view mirrors to work properly. The difficult part is that you cant really tell exactly where the bumper should be to make it work right. Some people have loosened the bumper mounting bolts and tipped the bumper up or down a bit to change the angle of the sensors and then they will work properly.

No chance to get one made at my own risk of it not working?

No sorry, the product is discontinued. We will not be making any more of them.

Picking this thread back up, anyone figure out the BSM thing for High Clearance bumpers? I imagine there are alot of folks who are interested in this topic.

I was happy with my discontinued c4 fabrication bumper with bsm until this last week when a big crack appeared..... Still waiting to hear back from @C4 Fabrication .

Depending on you or your friends talents I feel like it wouldn't be a too difficult of a mod.

I have the discontinued non-high clearance version because I really didn't want to cut into the sides of my truck. Looking at their current design, I don't see too much difference in height. I'll see if I can scrounge up some pics from my phone, but can't take any right now (out of town).

Someone will figure it out. BSM isn't going anywhere and will only get more popular. Once it starts eating into profit margins a design will get made. But it's not such an easy problem to solve as C4 has already found out... :/
