The 8.7" would probably be a no-go on the ditch light brackets. 6.7" might be doable, but the 4.5" for sure would work. The throw is just less as you go smaller.

Gonna take truck to badland bumpers in Ravensdale to fab up a fix for the bed. Stoked to get the problem fixed.

the northern part of Vancouver Island has some really cool spots. I once took a girl up there and found a sand beach with waterfall coming right down on the sand and not another person in sight. Going to make a trip up there this summer and visit some family and cruise around.

 

For as much time I’ve spent in BC i dont think I’ve ever set foot upon the island

 

I used to have 2 stores there in Sydney and Nanaimo. Amazing beauty, but never got to explore, just drove between stores. Plan on spending more time in BC and Vic in the next couple years.

I’ve taken the ferry out of nanaimo hundreds of times, a family friend owns an island in desolation sound, my parents were fortunate enough to buy their own chunk of land up there and built a cabin in Galley Bay. Every summer since i was a month old I’ve spent up there, heading up again in two weeks to take my kid on his first fishing trip. Desolation sound is where i want to retire.

That made it interesting trying to get a load of rock up your driveway for nic. Had about 8000# of gravel in a dump trailer behind a f250 powerstroke with bald tires Daisy chained to nics Dodge just sitting there burning rubber in 4lo. It started to slide backwards pulling both trucks, that's when I called you and said we might be fucked. Finally made/found some traction. It was interesting. Trailer brakes didn't work.

Okay guys, I'm picking up some all pro bolt on sliders this Friday! Once I get everything I need to install them, would anybody mind helping me install them? Beer and pizza would be provided. I lack drills and shit so yeah....

No only been to Campbell a few times we are across the straight. Mink island is the island my family friends own, our cabin is just south of Mink
