I dont go by oem recomend i go by what the oil recomends.

 

If I can find M1 on sale, I generally run that. Once in awhile I run SuperTech synthetic if M1 is not on sale....both in 5w-30.

I run either an M1 or Fram Ultra filter. Again...which ever I find on sale

 

I go 7,500 miles. The oil says 10k, my truck says 5k, I split the difference.

 

Honestly...all synthetics are very good. In fact, all oils...conventional and synthetic are good these days. Even most house brands are Dexos 2 compliant.

Bill....you can't really go wrong. Pick a flavor and run with it. Blackstone labs said sometime ago that oil brand had no measurable effect on engine wear.

Last Year we had 0, Ziltch & NaDa for Mosquito's. It was absolute heaven. So this Year I'm Certain they'll be back with a Vengeance.

I cut my grass and the neighbors grass. My neighbor is 90 years old. The grass in the backyard was 8” tall, the weeds were 3’ tall. I’ve been slacking.
