I get 12-12.5. S/C running 92 octane. I used to get 12.5 without the S/C but could run lower octane. :/ The only time I seem to sometimes enter the 13+ has been in Mexico! lol

 

Haven't seen that for probably since 1985! Do they still sell premade pork roll and egg sammys in coffee shops?

Actually, I grew up in Belle Mead (2010 census - 216 people) and ... George Washington Case of Belle Mead came up with his own recipe in 1870 and that eventually became the Case Pork Roll Co.

Yes, that’s a Wawa staple.
Case and Taylor are the go-to pork roll brands.
I like both.

 

Real gas helps a little but it’s very rare to find these days.

 

Grill repair is in primer stage.


I wanna get this back on. The TRD Pro design looks fine and I should be able to offer it as another option for sale soon.

Yesterday was a hoot!
Got a bunch of grill work done and then did some prep work on my truck. I got the Flippac ready to remove and completely disassembled the swingout on the rear bumper.


There are cracked welds and it’s a lot easier to repair when it’s not on the truck. I cleaned up the spots as best as I could. @6 gearT444E took it home to run a bead or two on it. I’ll pick it back up next weekend. The things pretty twisted.




Had to get out the danger wheel to remove a rounded out Allen Key bolt from the can carrier...


I don’t know why CBI loves to used these so much?

No worries! I'm planning on doing the FJ swap in the next few weeks so I'm trying to get as familiar as possible with it beforehand. Your install is super slick with the 3 extra sticks coming in through the interior shift boot.

Looking good Craig! I always liked the look after removing toppers, could be just because it looks like a completely different truck.

Any chance you've weighed your truck recently?

Was the Hurst short shifter necessary to run the sticks like that? I've got the URD and it reuses the factory shift lever. I'm asking because the Hurst looks longer and thinner which would provide more clearance for the others.

It was absolutely necessary. I actually have the hurst lever mounted on the opposite side from what it was intended to allow for the triple stick movement.
It took a lot of experimentation and the assistance of @6 gearT444E to get it to function properly.
I think I’m the only one who’s stuffed all 4 sticks through the stock shifter opening on a manual 2nd gen.
