Is there Transmission oil stick on new Tacoma?

Does Anyone know where is Transmission oil stick on new Tacoma Engine? I only see Oil stick only. How do you check Transmission oil? I don't see it on Owner manual.

It's probably not in the manual because it really should be done by an experienced mechanic. I've done it myself with no problem (I'm an ASE certified mechanic). Here's a link to a basic drain & refill procedure. Follow it to a T, or shifting problems and tranny damage may result.

I was wondering the exact same thing too. Thought Toyota forgot to put the dipstick on my truck!

I swear, I spent at least a half hour looking in the engine compartment for that damn dipstick! lol

 

A sealed transmission! Why on earth did they do that?

 

So that people who didn't know any better wouldn't be putting regular oil in it. lol

 

People who don't know better shouldn't be allowed to buy a Tacoma.

 

Those people help make the Tacoma one of the best selling trucks on the market. They also help keep Toyota's profit margins up. This also means we'll be getting a third generation of this truck.

Will there be a sealed engine in the third gen Tacoma?

 

Sealed engine and passenger compartment......I heard.

 

I do agree a little... But they also put warnings on blower dryers that say don't use in the shower. Do you think the person who used it in the shower could read?.... Toyota was probably just saving themselves the trouble. lol
