Got rid of the boxy bezels for some curves. They just looked out of place imo

 

Opps already threw mine away. Hope there are no problems with them not reinstalled.

Washed it, then put on TC UCA’s. Much more of a pain in the ass than my 2nd gen.

Yesterday installed some GE Megalight Ultra +130s for my low beams. Haven't used them in the dark yet to make a call on effectiveness.

Also installed the two OEM header rail plugs to keep water from getting in under my Diamondback from between the front rail and the sides. Gonna add some pics when I get a chance to take some, because I couldn't find any install instructions on the Internet. Found a video where a guy was removing a factory tonneau and was able to freeze it on the single frame that showed them installed and figured it out from there.

 

Maybe he was confused by the sn?!

They have some kinda cool stuff. Got the rear light covers too. Doubt I’ll ever pay for new lights unless I need them so it’s a happy compromise.

@willstuff I promised pics of the wire taps I did for my bed lights. After 2 weeks and too many distractions here are pics of where I tapped. Since I used low power LED pods for the bed lights I did not use any relay. Power is pulled from the cargo circuit and ground is by typical body/metal contact.

Follow the white wires. Power is the blue tap and ground is wire connected to the grounding bracket bolt, thus grounding the same spot as the rest of the stuff behind the kick panel. The red taps at the top are the port installed tailgate lock. The red screw tap is part of the trigger taps for my power steps.


Pulled the plug out so you can see which wire/pin of the plug that I tapped. Using this method the bed light is on and off with the cargo light built into the 3rd brake light.


Hopefully this helps you and anyone else that wants to have that switch control bed, cap, or added cargo lights. I would suggest if adding much of a draw to include a direct power and relay in your circuit to protect the OEM circuit.
