    I am looking to purchase a set of hi/low hid's for my 08 tacoma. I want to find a quality set of hid's. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for websites or brands. thanks.

    Well it depends. If you're tight on money and want something easy to install, get the pnp kits from DDMTuning.com for $40.

    From what I've read, the Morimoto Minis are only marginally less in output vs. the FX-Rs. They are almost as good as the big boys.

    Thanks. I'll have to look more into them. They may not be the best of the best but the fact that all you really have to do is pull the lamps apart, plug everything in, and seal it back up is a huge plus in my book

    I fucking hate them... seriously they blind everyone... and fucking got pulled over and the cops like u know ur highs are on. and i was like what? and i showed him and hes like this is ur warning


    DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO GET COVERS? or is there covers/shields?

    no, So there isn't a glare... I got mine from DDM tuning. and i thought they would come with a shield or a cover so theres a line you know?

    I got pulled over too!!! The cops are out to get people with the HID's now!! Especially east county lol. Mine came with the shield that your talking about and i got them from DDM.

    the shield on the bulb must be facing down not up as you would think hope that helps
    i have been runnning mine for almost 8 months now and no one even flashes there high beams at me....
