So that was an insane game. As a Patriots fan it was almost a let down but I think we are so spoiled...We just won a SIXTH Super Bowl in what must have been the best defensive Super Bowl in history. Tom Brady needs to add a finger to his hand don't worry he's got that kind of money. SIX TIME SUPER BOWL CHAMPION!

How about the pats defense, they played awesome.

I thought it was a great game, not what everyone expected.

Morning everyone! Made it to Montana easy yesterday, and had a nice drive down towards yellowstone from Bozeman. Our rental has great views and is a neat little cabin....buttttttt It runs off a minisplit, that just blows into one room, so bedroom and bathroom are literally 50 degrees. Oh, and woke up to frozen water pipes/no water..or what I am assuming is frozen pipes because they worked yesterday. :annoyed:

Oh well, we are here to get out and explore and not spend forever in our cabin. Maybe we'll grab a cheap space heater in town when we get some breakfast and that should solve a lot of the issue.

Can you jamb something in the other vents to mostly block them? Sock or towel? Or a small fan on the floor blowing cold back to the heater

It's not like that. It's the mini split just blowing air in the kitchen, there isn't any duct work, so there is no way to even get heat to those areas without an intricate system of fans. Just gonna buy a space heater and leave it in between the rooms and have the doors open most the time.

If it doesn't touch the car, it's not getting washed!

Gotta go to a place that brushes actually touch the vehicle. But even more important you absolutely, 100% MUST towel dry it yourself, even after the blowers. You ever go to the car in Derry right near the Police station? I think it's called Royal T? That's a good car wash. Touchless you might as well just spray the hose at the car.

From what I've heard, the brushes/rollers collect the dirt and crap from other vehicles and then rub that shit on your clearcoat and paint.

The best way to keep a vehicle clean is to maintain a good coat of wax. With a good base coat of wax, dirt and salt are easily hosed off. During winter I will go to a self-washing stall at a car wash and just use the rinse mode - road salt floats right off.

And, my Rek Gen mudflaps help keep salt off my truck.7B37F5DD-80BE-4593-9907-6A8D8A3C2828.jpg 0AD039ED-260A-4BFC-B3B8-2A9316F51757.jpg

That hasn't been my experience and I've been doing touch car washes my whole life. It's never hurt the finish. Every time I take the chance on a touchless wash it's a complete waste of money. I could just spray my garden hose at the truck for that. I like to do a hard wax once in a while also, and wash by hand, but the good car washes all touch the vehicle. You know it's a good car wash when they have fresh washed, folded towels for you after your car wash. Most people are too lazy to take the time, but I go through about 8 towels and it takes about 3 times as long to hand dry as the wash takes. When you towel dry you can get the dirt and grime that the car wash doesn't.

The outside is easy, what I need to do is clean the interior, but that is not nearly as much fun.

According to your avatar, it looks like you drive it though a puddle every so often so that counts, right?

True! So it gets washed all the time...! The water quality though is suspect...
