Starting to do some wheel shopping, but looking for some advice. Pretty set on the trd PTR20-35110-BK. Found em here https://toyotaparts.mcgeorgetoyota....ck-alloy-wheel-now-back-in-stock-ptr2035110bk for $169.77. Based on all else I'm seeing this seems to be a good price. Not against buying used if anyone knows of any for sale locally. Thanks guys!

That said.... I gots house work that needs done too. Wheres the fun in that, right.?. Gonna wash the taco and jeep to get this here salt/brine off them, then put new rear pads on the jeep. They be a bit on the thin side.

Any of you ever built a tarp? I'm thinking of trying it.

I'm sure in the end it will cost me a mint, but wanna do it a certain way and with a purpose. or....... which I just thought of, buying one close to size as I can find, then mod it.

Really want to do canvas. The thing does not need to be water proof. Mainly to cover the bed and keep stuff in

Softopper, To a point...... Frame-less, yes. but did start having all kinds of ideas running thru the head last night.

 

Ok, thats cool. What were you thinking. i have considered something similar for inside my bedrack.

 

Was thinking of a flat sheet that would be inside the top of the bed rails. and either bungie'd or rope tied to the track system. Have also thought of adding an additional foot on each side, so as to, being able to raise it while still tied down.

Again this is for dump/trash runs or just to keep gear covered.

I might run my idea by the guy's at BROG (https://www.blueridgeoverlandgear.com/) and see what they say.. I doubt my Wife's little sewing machine would be up to the task. haha.

 

I would think they are safe. All I know is when I got my frame they told be there is a new iteration of the frame where they ended up doing a lot more. I didn't get any more than that.
