I'd like it - I'm a bit older and have had had LOTS of knee surgeries. I like the step part more than anything else. I'm currently looking for the best option of a step for my current truck (2019 OR).

My 2019 Tacoma TRD OR 4X4, hmm..., as noted above, looks like roof ridges to me on the rear half the roof after the moonroof.

Your ridges are on the back half of the roof, so it wouldn't be seen down at the angle that the teaser picture was taken at.

For clarity I bolded the part of the comment that applies.

I have a moonroof as well and I have no ridges on the front half of the cab roof. Unless the photographer is using an angle at or higher than the cab roof line there will be no ridges visible in the photo. Try it and see if you see yours from a "standing" view.

Edit: Additionally, the teaser pic was taken from what looks to be less than about 3.5 foot from the ground.

Thanks, taken up at our seasonal camp, probably cleaning the roof off after winterizing and noticed a photo opportunity. Haha!

Yes it is a 4wd - has the crawl control stuff/locking diff etc...the 34500 was with tax too. What helped me was I told the guy I thought my payoff on my trade was around16K (the trade value was around 9-10K)...I did not have a pay off as I DO NOT finance...I also had him work me a deal saying I was going to finance with the dealership. I think - not 100% certain it was 1.9% rate - but regardless I just do not want payments on a depreciating item. I'm enjoying the truck - I find the 4WD works well around out property...this is my first small truck. Only issue I have is I'd like some sort of step into the bed - looking at the one Toyota makes - just wish the step was a bit wider.

Disagree, I think Tacoma looks significantly more masculine than Hilux. Not at all soccer-mom like as you put it.

We are in agreement - the Taco is absolutely more masculine than the Hilux, my only point being that the masculinity of our Tacos comes at the expense of aerodynamics and I'm not proposing they make it look like a van or even the hilux, but a few more rounded edges would help with windshield cracks and even MPGs. As is, my truck is a fly swatter rolling down the freeway :)

The one on the right looks like the 360 camera button out of the Camry.

Yep, someone thought it looked like the birds eye view camera found on RAV4, Camry, etc.

Now if the new Taco had surround cameras, that would be huge.
