never know, but for those prices I'd get one with a 600lb capacity like I shared. these things aren't expensive, it's weights that are expensive.

I max at 455 for one when I go heavy in my workouts, but thats after working sets at 315 and 405.

I maxed out at 545 a couple years ago at about 207. But I don’t see myself getting to that point again any time soon.

I might not be able to bench much, but a 5’9” frame can squat a lot if you want it to.

what has your bench gotten to? I'd assume your stature would help there too. I have short arms that helped me when I was powerlifting and got to a 335 bench. deadlift was always my weakest because of my back issues, and short arms making it a farther pull lol

I hurt my shoulder at 315 and haven’t done flat bench since (that was probably too heavy for me at the time). But yes, I’m built to be able to do the big 3 with much less travel than most, lol.

Yep. I do fine with dumbbells now, but I don’t go above 135 on the flat bar much anymore.

don't blame you. I had a buddy tear his pec doing flat bench, got one of those cool bruises that runs all the way across your upper body, and he's barely benched since. injuries suckkk

They suck, but it’s part of it. Get sewn back up or find a workaround and push until something else years or breaks.

    Morning crew!

Went to the store to grab something for dinner right quick (key word being right quick, like I'm moving fast in the store and it's obvious). Dude stops me and asks if that's my Tacoma out front.

Dude: How does that tube thing work on there? Does it keep the water out of the engine good?

Me: Yeah, it's called a snorkel and that's like a secondary thing, it's made for keeping dust out of the engine and taking in clean air above a dirt roadway.

Dude: So you can like go pretty deep in the water with it?

Me: No, you'll fry the electrical system in the truck and be sitting in water inside long before you get near the top of the snorkel. Things just aren't built like they used to be man.

Dude: Oh, ok. Can I ask if you're a prepper?

Me: (Enter shit eating grin) Yeah man, I'm prepping for all that p*ssy that snorkel's going to bring in.

    Dude: Blank stare

Me: See ya man. Nice talking to you.
