I have one for 16-17 Tacoma. Traded my 2016 TRD for a 2018 so i don’t need it anymore.

I am contemplating adding a 2nd set. Currently, I have setup the 4 lights in the middle.

I want to add another set of 4 on the bottom more spread out...

it is if you want lights on all the time when engine is on.....when you turn engine off, they will go out.......but if you want them to come on when you switch lights on, this this will work.....for me personally, i like them to come on when i start the engine; i keep the switch in auto position......

Quick update on this I re-did all the connections thing something may have been wrong.

Green only: Grille lights turn on for DLR and Parking lights. (DLR also causes vehicle taillights, sidemarkers, and license plate illuminators remain)
Pink only: Grille lights work with parking lights and headlights, No DLR.
Both: work in all modes, but taillights, sidemarkers, and license plate illuminators remain on with DLR.

Not sure if the parking lights are detected by a voltage drop or what but this is the current result I am getting with my setup.

just go to the "EFI" fuse in the hood fuse box.......clean instal and grill lights come on with engine start or accessory, and turn off with engine off.......DRLs come on with release of parking brake and go off with engine shutdown......

unless you are trying to manually control lights....in that case i would recommend a separate switch.

i would get one that has 2 fuse slots and a connecting wire that is 12 or 14 gauge.....you need a Micro or mini 15amp fuse and a 10amp fuse... somewhere in this thread I think there is a picture of one....i’ll see if i can find it

i would not use a 2amp fuse......the manufacturing provides a 15amp fuse for lights and you put the 10amp from the fuse box in the other end....Mine came with 15a and 10 amp from Runnin4Tacos.com they are great people to work with

So the 15a EFI fuse you pull out goes in the bottom slot and then you put the add a fuse of 10a on the top? I figured so long as the amperage is lower on the top for the added lights, you’ll be ok? Then again I don’t know much about this. Appreciate the help.

Ok the one you linked has this pic.

So the EFI fuse is a low profile fuse type?

Sorry for all these questions. It's raining hard right now and dont to get soaked looking around in the engine bay.

Awe yea I wasn’t sure if you were wanting to wait for them or not. I did think the add a fuse was expensive for what it is. Also if you haven’t made your order, put in an order for a waterproof connector that way you have a quick disconnect when you take your grill off later. Will make things easier.

These are the ones I bought. They didn’t have anything like this at autozone surprisingly.

the "EFI or INJ" fuses are 10amps.....use either one.......you take out the fuse from the fuse location in the fuse box and plug in the add a fuse.......the 15amp and 10 amp fuses go into the top of the add a fuse....see the pic above
