I did the thing. OEM. Paid nearly 500$ for grille and TSS garnish installed. No regerts, would do it again if needed. Who wants a mint SR5 grille? Lol

I tried to go the OEM route and found out 3 days later that Toyota will not release the parts to me for my Off Road. Guess its chinese knock off for me.

Agreed. I got mine from a dealer in Texas and when he gave me the runaround about not having a Pro VIN, I mentioned the only reason I ordered from him was others here at T-W had purchased theirs there. Next email I got was a tracking number.

The dealer told me that if I bought it, they would need to install due to TSS needing adjustment (its height level does change). Any truth to this at all?

But not enough to require a dealer to charge you an hour.

This is what I went with. Just the grille will run you about 400$, the garnish is another couple bucks, and considering the garnish comes installed and the shipping was extremely fast, I'd recommend them. I couldn't be happier! Theyre a toyota dealership in Daytona. I'm guessing they add a bit on top of that for discretion lol. No questions asked.

Came boxed up in a unmolested genuine OEM toyota/Lexus parts box, well packaged and nothing broken. Toyota signage on the backside and everything. I opened an ebay account just to buy this!
