I wonder how the temp of the meth would change power? Colder fuel makes more power. Runs cooler. I wonder if cooling the meth when spraying would help. Thinking that putting a tank in the bed would keep it cooler then the engine bay. Thinking of putting the meth tank in the bed with an ice box. And then make room to keep bags of ice around both of them. Also keeping weight in the back for traction

Great idea. However the lines would need to be insulated too. I thought about buying a flexible lunch cooler and butchering it to wrap the wiper tank. Maybe stuff a couple ice packs in it. Or I thought about a petcock drain so it was easy to drain quick. Then keep a gallon in the freezer. Yeah, it's a few minutes work. But it could make the drive to work fun!

Anyone here using a failsafe Innovate PSB-1 guage?

I’m probably going to get one as I like that it will cut the boost if
there is a lean situation with the AFR.
Would be great item with the methonal kits to keep me in check that
everything is correct with my AFR.

This is a combo boost and AFR guage.
Was looking for some feedback on this guage

I have one. Keep in mind if you are going to mount it on the flexpod you will need to modify the flexpod. One dislike is the gauge has a bunch of thick wires coming out of it, kind of a pain to route everything.

Ok great, was going to use a pillar pod so all wires are hidden, hopefully that will work.

    Otherwise your happy with it?

RTIC 20 in the bed and throw the reservoir in there and add ice. Ice will last days too!

Make a fitting to run the lines through the drain and done.

Yeah should work fine in the a piller. I have no issues with it but I am lagging bad on hooking up my o2 sensor for it. Boost gauge works well though!

I've thought about this too. Based on what I remember from my university thermodynamics classes from ages ago, the temperature of the water/methanol would provide additional intake charge cooling, however it would be tiny compared to the heat sink of the water and methanol evaporating. Therefore I believe cooler water/meth liquid would have a nearly neglegible effect.

Simple enough to setup but seems a bit outrageous to me. A fully loaded RTIC ain’t exactly lightweight.

Or put a nos bottle on it. If I had a built stroker motor I would bottle feed.

Nah I’m in CA. Gotta settle for a double wall insulated reservoir and distilled ice cubes.

That's what they want. If we follow every rule only more will be added.

    @White lightning boosted

When you wired up your IPW for your meth controller, what do the IPW's look like if you are running the FPR mod? does it ever go over 100%? im guessing not.. but just curious

Had a bunch of issues (rough idle and going lean under boost) with either a vacuum leak, bad injectors, or the UCon not wanting to run the truck right. Swapped back to TRD tune and 455s and everything runs great now.
