    I can’t even get to the side of the lake without going all the way up to Incline and back down. 89 is closed.

    Honestly I would just Uber out of there and buy a full sized spare.

    Thanks everyone for the help / interest! Got a taxi to our hotel. Need to get my truck towed to the tire shop that has the same size tire but will have to find a ride over to my truck tomorrow. Taxis are fully booked up here and Uber’s/lyfts aren’t driving in this. Hopefully tomorrow is a little bit easier to get transportation and I can slap my chains back on and get out of here.

    I just checked CalTrans and 20, 49, 50, 88, 89, and 395 are all closed in various places. As well as Hwy 1 along the coast ... no snow there though. Stay safe!
