as of this morning, mine are available for pick up at the UPS facility. ended up putting them on hold since nobody will be home when they deliver today. so excited!!!

Wheels come in Wednesday, just came from discount tire ordered the grapplers arrive Thursday get them mounted up on Friday

 

Right now they are on transit, they left CA on the 1st of Feb, that was the last update in the UPS page. So as soon as they arrive at my nearest UPS location I’m going to select to pick them up myself.

-12mm on 285s rub like crazy without significant cutting and hammering. -38mm is even more.

what do you mean by "no significant cutting"?? what have you only done?

 

Really? What lift are you on? Spoke to multiple people with this offset or -12 + spacers and they didn’t say significant. Just CMC and trimming.

 

I had -12mm Ray10s up 3” with a CMC and they caught the front and rear of the fenders, and the pinch weld on flat ground. Didn’t have them by the time I got my front bumper, but I figure even with the current alignment that I would still need to pound the pinch weld back.

YMMV, but 285s on this aggressive of an offset will require some creativity (see: cutting and hammering). It’s a fantastic stance and look, but be ready (especially for third gen wheel wells).

Pinch weld is not rubbing but it will when the tire gets stuffed. The front bumper rubs a bit but mostly on the liner. Other than that it's good to go. I also already had the CMC done.

I’m pretty sure it’s when the suspension it’s compressed and the tire is stuffed in the wheel well

 

Like when you go offroad over a bump or something and the tire will flex up into the fender. I grind-ed down enough of the edge of that little metal piece so it wouldn't rub for daily driving. I have an appointment with a fabricator Monday and he's going to take care of everything so it will be rub free on and off road.

 

so meaning now no more rub besides the liners in the front for a daily drive? how many inches is your lift again?

 

It's about 2.5 inches in the front. No rubbing anywhere in the rear.

Also a note to everyone else, I have heard of the Ray 10's "holding water" and didn't think much of it. You guys will find out quickly if you live in a place where it rains LOL.
