Last night I drove down the highway and realized the right turn signal suddenly not working. Thought it may be a bad connection of the bulb but it wasn't. I swapped left bulb to the right and it still not works. So I stopped the vehicle and restart the engine, put the hazard lights on but then all the sudden the lights work again. Drove the truck another mile and put up the turn signal to exit the freeway, then realized the signal light is not working again. Parked at the garage and play with the emergency light again and it works again. Also, notice that the tail light is on and have no issue, so it is not the bad bulb (I believe)

Is that a bad fuse or relay issue due to cold weather? wonder if it is a CANBUS error or anyone has any clues.

PS. I check the fuse box and don't see any fuels indicated to Turn signal. See photos.

Control for the turn signals is inside the combination meter, not a separate flasher like 2nd n 1st Gen. Take to stealership...have them verify the fuels are the required octanes:rofl:
Just messing with ya. Must be auto-spell going bad over there.

I have the same issue ....... been doing this for about 6 months. VLED's ( V6 Tritons - ran these same bulbs in my Gen 2 for 7 years with no issues ) front and rear with a resistor. Left side set up the same as the right side. No issues on the Left side. Right side will not work initially ...... seems to work less in cold weather. It appears that as the truck warms up it fails less often. Once the right side starts to work it will usually continue to work. I've switched out the front bulb and that seemed to help. I'll change out the rear bulb one of these days .....

Holy! That's the same exact problem that I have! I thought these bulbs have built-in resistors, so placing the extra resistor can help to solve the problem?

Thanks, but I thought the bulbs already have the built-in resistor, so adding another one can help?

I used one 50 watt 6 ohm resistor per side. Same worked well on my 2nd Gen Taco. I don't think the resistor ( or lack of ) would cause the bulb to not fire. No resistor can / will cause Hyper Flash. Some LED bulbs have built in resistors ....... older bulbs probably not.

Yes, the newer model has built-in, I don't have the Hyper flash problem. Last night was cold and as you said may be warming up can help to resolve this issue.

Did you ever find out a solution? I’m having the same problem with my 2021 tacoma. I put stock and led. Same issue. But as soon as I turn the headlights on. They work normal.
