Rear diff drain and fill plugs part number?

I went to change my diff fluid over the weekend and determined both the fill and drain plugs were over torqued. I liberally applied PB Blaster and heat to the bolts and I still had to fight to get them off. As expected, the head on the bolts are starting to round out so I want to replace them during my next gear oil change.

Does anyone know the part number for the rear differential drain and fill plug on a 2005 Toyota Tacoma?

After further review of the rear axle parts diagram, I have determined the part numbers. They are below...

Plug (For Rear Axle Housing Drain) - 90341-18057

For the front diff drain, I’d go with Lexus part number 90341-24016. It has a 14mm nut type thing instead of the 10mm hex from hell.

 

That’s good to know if I ever manage to strip mine. So far, a proper 10mm Allen socket, and make sure it’s properly seated, and no problems.

 

Same here, but I decided to get the Lexus one and just swap drain plugs next time I change the front diff fluid. It was cheap enough, $10 or so
