I did mine. If your sliders are weld on, you may have to ask Tim for a different reference point for the front hangar. I know when I find mine, my rear slider mount covered the hole that he references in the instructions. Other than that, make sure to measure your pinion angle before you start so you know what to set it to when mounting spring perches. And mount the spring perches with the hole facing forward. This wasn’t too big of a deal, but if you don’t, you’ll have to modify your lower shock mounts. Not a big deal, I did that on mine

Cool thanks! My sliders are bolt on so I should be able to pull them if needed. They dont go back too far so it may be a non-issue.

Yeah that was my only issue when installing. Tim answered on the weekend and promptly sent me an email with other reference points.

My sliders were weld on....I actually just measured from the back side since I could see it there. But if you want the whole story. I measured from that hole to the next hole back and from what i remember it was exactly 12 inches then I measured forward from the rear hole to get Tim's reference number which was 9 3/4...so I just measured forward from the rear hole 2 1/4 inches. Mine is a access cab long bed so your numbers may not match exactly.

Okay cool. That’s what I needed to hear. Thanks.
Did you go through Toyota direct and spend a lil extra $ for the quality or just go through the parts store?

Just look on Craigslist or other used places. You might have been reading about front 4x4 axles if you were reading about guys getting part store axles from tundras for lt - no parts store makes a full rear axle as far as I know. Here's one - the drums look off kilter, may be the camera angle.

Make sure you have a back-up vehicle while your truck is down so you don’t have to rush. Everything else was pretty straight forward for me. Tim gives very well written instructions for installing the kit. If you know the basics of metal fab/welding and how to read a tape measure, you’ll be fine.
Ideally you will want to want to weld all sides accessible of the hanger to the frame so prep everything properly before tacking.

As others have said, double check pinion angles before burning the perches in.

That makes sense. I suppose I’ll focus on the front end and get to the rear in due time. Thanks again.
