How bad to you have to be at driving to put a JK in the ditch before the real snow even hits?

 

My hill looks like an expensive destruction derby. Cars on the road, sidewalk, in people’s yards.... pisses me off cuz I might not be able to get to work tomorrow. Strangely, the 3 Jeeps and 4 Tacos in my area seemed to have no issues. Road off the hill is side to side cars. Hello? Allstate?
I would post a pic but it’s too icy to walk back up the hill! Plus I am warm right now and am a cold wuss.

 

Spent an hour trying to blast a coyote. My outer layer was frozen stiff

Also, how do you get in the ditch on the inside of the corner? Shouldn’t it be the outside? Road doesnt look crowned or anything.

 

I see the problem, not ditch lights.

 

Didn’t even attempt it today. My side streets are all ice and no room to maneuver. Start sliding and it turns into an expensive game of pinball.

Pussies. The fun was all north of Bothell. 3pm and there were still places where all 6 lanes of I5 were packed snow. You legit could have run chains all the way from Marysville to Bellevue on the freeway. Literally the best roads I saw all day were from Kent south.

 

20 to 9 to 542 was dandy. 4hi and go.

Ok so I just opened my front door and there is a snow covered Amazon package. Fucking Amazon got up the hill in a fucking delivery van, and the guy with the 4wd dodge p/u is in someone’s front yard.
Props to the Amazon guy, because I really needed that Catan expansion pack he risked his life for!

 

Looks awful. Pay all that money and they make you sit in a deck chair and drink unsweetened tea all day. Psh.

 

Enough fresh to be fun, but not so much my rusty board skills could get me in trouble. I'll be sore as f with my alarm tomorrow, no worries.

 

Skyway is an ice rink, I just slow rolled through a red light right turn, clear hard ice down the hill to Renton Ave, thought I was safe on a buss route. Be safe out there folks.

 

Did you take Renton Ave S hill down? That's my usual way into work coming off of 133rd/132nd.
