Be careful in Carson. No range officer and there are some dumb people out there. I was there and we closed the range and everybody walked down. I was sitting there watching a lady holding her AR15 and goofing around with it. I waited and finally asked her if she was going to put it down - she got mad at me?? The Washoe range is far away but by far a better facility and a range office on duty. Good tables and covered shooting area and they provide target holders.

That's good - somebody was going to get shot.

If you want to check an area you shoot go here. https://gis.washoecounty.us/wrms Click the little three lines in the upper left corner. Choose "More Data and Layers" Second entry down needs to be checked. Then close and I had to click the new service towards the bottom then above a new entry "Firearm Discharge Reg" showed up on the list of layers. Ugh - they don't make it easy. You may have to mess around if this doesn't work the same for every browser.

And for fucks sake - Please police your brass and targets!

    This.

And glass bottles/appliances/random household junk generally make for crappy targets that are a pain in the ass to clean up when you're done so please leave that shit at home.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
It does suck. Old dog had a good life early on as my rabbit dog, and as he got older, he had a good retirement snoozing in sunbeams around the house, barking at squirrels in the oak tree, and stationing himself at the high chair of his "benefactor" for a free meal. 15 years was a good run for him, and he had a good life. Breaks my heart he's gone, but I'm happy cause he lived a good, full life.

As for a Heeler pups, put me on the list!!
