    Nice.

Is that the 140 or 200?
I just got a 200. I only measured 250 imp so far. Thanks for making it easier for me.

    Haven't been around in a while .
Myself and 3 of 5 full time people got let go, Friday was my last day. The company gave us all 30 day notice.
Today was my first unemployed day and I fielded 5 phone calls from my former work. The last phone call I told them they would be billed from now on for calls
Anyway. The last thing I built before walking out the door. Organized hand lines and expensive life lines .

First time in my life being laid off.
Have 2 job offers already but nothing I am interested in, I don't want to manage labor.
Feel used, built the shop and got it tooled up and effective and then showed the door.
Anyway, just moved across the valley, so I am taking some time to get my new house organized, and relax for a week or two, then back too it . Got my tax papers and I didn't realize how much overtime I had, over 250 he's for 2018. Takes raped me this year big time.
Anyway, if anyone is interested in a Lincoln precision Tig 275 ready pack, let me know . 2 years old, only used for aluminum, all the bells and whistles. Water cooled torch, consumables 4k or make a offer. Located in Las Vegas. Excellent shape.

We all like pics so here we go. Aluminum base plates, 3/8 6061 to 2x2 x .120 done with a spool gun. I have minimal time on a spool gun and dislike them immensely.
Lastly, a hot pic, thought it was a cool look.

Well did they give any reason??

Be glad you at least got 30 days notice much rougher when you show up and are told your done.

Worse yet when the building is pad locked for back taxes and most all your tools are locked up .

Take some time before going back to the grind .

Planning to get into the same line of work?

Industrial construction hand here. I’ve gotten to work and been told “today’s your last day” many many times lol. Lay offs are a bitch but it’s just a expected thing in my field.

Idk how I would handle it if I had a normal full time career job

Heard that sort of story way to many times. Friends/aquantices pretty much run a shop, build it up, then get laid off.

And only 250 hours of OT? Thats a low year for most people I work with. I tend to end up with somewhere in the 300-400 hours range. But most of it is during the week so dont mind it to much...espcially 10 hour days since Im up early anyways.

Think the most I worked was around 700 hours in a 8-9 month period. Said F that afterwards. Thankfully it was at a TDY. Made out liek a bandit, OT, per diem, and sun the whole time. After that though I went looking for a new job

Up till now my job was mostly structural stuff for the live entertainment rigging industry. I like it, but may end up doing trade show crap and more scenic builds for shows on the strip. I don't want to travel and I don't want to manage shop labor.
I just want to be busy building stuff. Give me some plans and walk away.
I may start building some one off pieces of furniture.
Who knows where life will take me from here.
I was looking for a job when I got this one.
The company said they needed to cut there overhead, so ,3 people got clipped.
But, one of my bosses showed up to work on Friday in his brand new danali sierra Duramax leather blah blah blah.

Off to change the seals in my oil cooler in the first gen, wish me luck. Not a lot if room up in there to work.
Cheers boys. Glue some metal into funny shapes today.

@Shmellmopwho i know you have a Hobart 210 MVP, and if anyone else does feel free to chime in. Went to use it this evening when I flipped the power switch I had a 10 second delay before anything happened. I know current was flowing through the machine since it made a slight whining noise then the fan and everything kicked. Anyone ever experienced this or know what this is symptomatic of?
