One day it will be so slick, that you will come out of Walmart and see this scene recreated around your truck.

My '03 Mustang had a fake scoop, people were always asking if it was a Mach 3. My question was always "How did they know such a detail without being able to answer the question for themselves?"

Hey all, I was able to install my new shift knob finally. I have a 2nd gen 5 speed MT, and was the first 2nd gen owner to receive @7r41lbr34k3r 's knob (yes, I know lol). The 2nd gen chrome collar is held on by thread, I simply cut the thread and slipped the collar off. The provided ziptie with the new knob works great.

First day I used it, it was about 0 Degrees. I cleared snow off the windshield with my hand, hopped in the truck, and my wet hand froze to the shift knob. However the cold doesn't bother me much, my steering wheel feels equally as cold.
I do have the URD short shifter, and the extra weight of the aluminum knob tremendously helps with easier and smoother gear engagement.
Sorry for shitty pictures, my phone camera is all messed up.

Excellent, 2nd Gen is officially developed! Thank you for letting me borrow that collar, it really took a lot of the guess work out on my end.

V2 is proving to be pretty versatile, now having 3rd Gen AT/MT and 2nd Gen MT proven out. Just need to have a crack at the bootless 2nd Gen AT, T4R and Tundra to complete my Toyota goals for this design.

Weekly update is coming either tonight or tomorrow, been on my back the last few days with a cold and didn't get much done over the weekend. I do plan to spend time out in the shop today, and probably all day tomorrow. pretty much just engraving at this point, and I have about 9-10 hours worth of knurling on the horizon.
